Berhampur: Police seized a huge quantity of adulterated spices and chili powder from a manufacturing unit in this city in Ganjam district on Thursday.
Acting on a tip-off, police raided a house at Bada Bazar in Pandav Nagar area and seized hundreds of packets of spices and chili powder as well as a machine used to prepare the adulterated products.
Police have detained the owner of the unit, Linga Sahu, for interrogation.
