Khurda: Police recovered the body of a youth from a well at a village in Khurda district on Friday morning.
The deceased was identified as Bikash Sahu, a resident of Nirakapur.
Bikash’s family said he had gone to attend a marriage ceremony at Rambhabil in Janika police station area on Wednesday and was missing since then.
On Friday morning, some villagers at Rambhabil spotted his body in the well and informed police.
Police said the exact cause of death can only be ascertained after an autopsy. However, the deceased’s family claimed that he was murdered by some miscreants.
Further investigation on the matter is on.
