Family Gets Shock Of Life On Finding Cobra Sitting On Bed In Odisha’s Bhadrak

Bhadrak: A family had a shock of their life as they found a huge cobra sitting with its hood opened on their bed in a village in Odisha’s Bhadrak district on Saturday.

According to sources, the family members of Ananta Prasad Bhanj of Allinagar village under Tihidi block of the district were busy in their daily chores in the morning when they heard intermittent hissing sound.

They started looking for the source of the sound but failed to trace it. They went back to works as the sound subsided after some time. Later, they again heard the sound and during search found the cobra sitting on a bed.

The snake was not only making the hissing sound but also had its hood opened in an aggressive posture. As they raised an alarm out of fear, their neighbours and villagers rushed to their house.

Luckily, they did not harm the cobra and informed a snake catcher. They also locked the room and kept guard to prevent the snake from escaping.

The snake catcher managed to catch hold of the cobra and took it in his bag to release in a natural habitation, the sources said.
