Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday advised his ministers to make efforts to ensure better governance.
Here are the tips the Chief Minister gave at the meeting of the Council of Ministers at the State Secretariat:
—Extensively tour the state to know the status of the ongoing works of your department at the grassroots level.
—Pay surprise visits to your office and departments to expedite services to the people.
— During visits, interact with the people to know their problems. Take direct feedback on ongoing welfare schemes from the beneficiaries themselves.
—Pay personal attention to the 5-T’s (Transparency, Technology, Team Work, Transformation and Time) as these are vital for the inclusive development of the state.
—For transparency and capacity building in governance, give special emphasis on digitisation and ensure that all official works are done through the Odisha Secretariat Workflow Automation System (OSWAS).
The Chief Minister thanked the ministers for submitting the monthly report on the performance of their concerned departments in time.
