FIR Against Bigg Boss OTT Winner Elvish Yadav; ‘He Tried To Break My Spine, Make Me Physically Disabled’
New Delhi: YouTuber Sagar Thakur has accused Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav of trying to break his spine and make him physically disabled.
Thakur filed an FIR against the social media influencer after a video surfaced on social media showing Elvish and his accomplices assaulting the former.
Sagar, who uses the name ‘Maxtern’, complained that Elvish punched him on the face and hit him on his spine with a mobile phone. Sagar added that Elvish winner gave him multiple death threats, on and off camera.
In the FIR, which has been accessed by India Today, Thakur called for “immediate legal action” against Elvish.
“I was asked by Elvish Yadav to meet him, but I thought it was about verbal discussion. When he came to the store, he and his 8-10 goons, who were drunk, started beating me and using abusive language. Elvish Yadav tried to break my spine so that I would become physically disabled. All 8-10 people came at 12.30 am on March 8, 2024. Elvish Yadav, before leaving, threatened to kill me, and I was almost unconscious. I request to investigate this matter and take action according to the law under culpable homicide of Section 308 and 307 of the IPC. I want my medical examination to be conducted through police,” Thakur’s FIR stated.
Thakur posted a fresh video on social media in which he alleged that there were attempts to cover up the incident by registering the FIR against Elvish under bailable sections despite clear evidence of an attempt to murder.
“I was brutally attacked and assaulted by Elvish Yadav, who openly issued death threats to me. All the evidence is available on the internet. But when I went to the police station to file an FIR, the SHO lodged it under IPC 147, 149, 323, and 506. Unfortunately, these are bailable sections, and despite clear evidence of an attempt to murder, no non-bailable charges were included,” Thakur tweeted, and posed the question why murder charges were not included.
“Is the Haryana government potentially protecting a criminal?” he wrote.
It all started after Thakur mocked Elvish and called him a ‘hypocrite’.
A war of words erupted on social media between Thakur and Elvish, following which the two met in Gurugram. The violent altercation followed, with Thakur sharing a video on social media.
