Berhampur: Huge quantity of firecrackers worth Rs 4 lakh was seized and two persons were detained on Wednesday following raids on several houses at Sundarpur village under Chattrapur police limits in Odisha’s Ganjam district.
Chattrapur police station in-charge Satya Narayan Pradhan told the media that the detainees had stocked the firecrackers in their house for sale during the upcoming festivities.
