Speaking on the occasion, India head of Practical Action Dr
Birupakshya Dixit said, “Menstrual hygiene education is a basic right
of every girl by birth. There should be sufficient efforts to ensure this for all girls irrespective of class, caste, economic condition and physical ability. We are going to distribute the braille books among 2500 young girls in the state.”
Dixit also wished that this initiative could be replicated by the government, if they want.
