Bhubaneswar: Five new cases of COVID-19 were reported in the city in the last 24 hours.
Of them, two are from quarantine and three are local contacts, informed Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Saturday.
Of the local contact cases, one each was reported from Rasulgarh, Nayapalli, and Sundarpada.
Meanwhile, six patients have been cured of the disease during the 24-hour period.
A total of 31,980 people have been infected by the virus in Bhubaneswar so far. Of them, 31,638 have recovered. While 248 have succumbed to the disease, there are 73 active cases at present.
