Bengaluru: Amazon’s ‘Great Indian Sale’ and Flipkart’s ‘Republic Day’ sale are starting on January 20. The e-commerce giants made the announcement right before the enforcement against deep discount sale comes into force on February 1.
During the sale, SBI credit cards users can avail 10 per cent instant discount on Flipkart while HDFC users can get the same on Amazon. There is no-cost EMI on Bajaj Finserv EMI Network Cards on Flipkart as well.
Flipkart’s sale will have huge discounts on mobile phones, TVs, home appliances, and other electronics and accessories. Amazon’s sale covers almost every product category in their domain, from electronics to garments to books and grocery. Apart from flash sale, Flipkart will give an additional special 26 per cent discount from 2 pm to 6 pm every day of the sale.
Apart from that, Flipkart is offering total mobile protection packs and guaranteed buyback options for as low as Rs 70, along with additional bonus on exchange prices.
Flipkart Plus members will get early access to the sale at 8 pm on January 19. Similarly, Prime users will also get priority access.
Amazon’s sale will end on January 24, while Flipkart’s sale is a three-day affair.
