Bhubaneswar: Even as Similiguda in Odisha’s Koraput district recorded the season’s coldest night at 6.4 degree Celsius on Tuesday, India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday said that the temperature across the state is likely to remain 2 to 4 degree Celsius below normal during the next 4-5 days.
While dry weather will prevail in the state, there will be no large change in the minimum temperature during this period, it added.
The MeT office has also forecast shallow to moderate fog at one or two places in Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput and Malkangiri for the next two days. The minimum temperature in Bhubaneswar will continue to hover around 16 degree Celsius.
