Bhadrak: Eminent Odisha politician and former Union minister Arjun Charan Sethi passed away on Monday evening.
An eight-time Member of Parliament from Bhadrak, Sethi was 85 and under treatment in a private hospital after suffering brain stroke.
He first won on a Congress ticket from Bhadrak in 1971 and was re-elected in 1980.
His last four stints in Lok Sabha was as a BJP candidate.
He was Union minister of Water Resources in the Atal Vihari Vajpayee-helmed BJP government from 2000 to2004.
