Koraput: In a tragic incident, four children drowned in Kolab dam in
Lamptaput of Koraput district.
They were identified as Sushant Bhoi (2), Laxmi Bhoi (9), Sabita Majhi
(8) and Sanjay Bhoi (9) of Parajakuduli village under Kumaragandhara
panchayat in the district.

While the body of one of these children was found on Monday, others
were recovered on Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred on Monday when the children slipped into the
water body while playing near it. Some locals dived into the dam and
pulled Laxmi out, but failed to trace the other three children. They
rushed her to a nearby hospital where the doctors declared her brought
dead.
