Sambalpur: Four corona warriors working at Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Science and Research (VIMSAR) in Burla have tested positive for COVID-19, the Sambalpur district administration tweeted on Thursday.
With the four cases, the infected tally in the district rose to 129.

All of them were shifted to the dedicated COVID facility, the district administration informed. The contact tracing of all the infected patients was underway, it added.
On Wednesday, three doctors and four nurses in the premier hospital had contracted COVID-19. Of them, one is an assistant professor at the radiotherapy department, two are PG students (pulmonary medicine and medicine departments) and four are nursing staff working in the ICU.
With 101 recoveries, Sambalpur district has 28 are active cases at present.
