Four Doctors Appointed In Cut-Off Areas Of Odisha’s Malkangiri
Malkangiri: The long-standing demand of the people in the cut-off areas of Chitrakonda block in the district has been fulfilled as the district administration has appointed four doctors.
Speaking to the media on Sunday, Chitrakonda BDO Laremon Kharsel said the district administration has appointed two MBBS and two specialist doctors at the district headquarters hospital who will visit the community health centres (CHCs) at Chitrakonda, Jaanbai and Jodamba every week on rotation for treatment of the patients.
He said that the district administration has begun the process to ensure better healthcare facilities in the cut-off areas of the district as road communication and telecommunication network in these areas have been upgraded.
