Bhubaneswar: A quick action team (QAT) of police arrested four persons for allegedly smuggling brown sugar in the city on Saturday.
Police said they arrested Jagannath Mohpatra, Gunanidhi Barik of Nayapalli, Taidur Gayan and Paresh Sethy of Mancheswar following raids. They seized 24.6 grams of brown sugar, Rs 1,800 in cash, one motorcycle and three cell phones from the accused.
The four will be forwarded to court soon, police said.
