Gajapati/Ghatagaon: Four persons were killed in separate wall collapse incidents in Gajapati and Keonjhar districts, following incessant rain under the impact of cyclone ‘Titli’, on Friday.
Two labourers died in Labanyagarh village under Gosani block in Gajapati district after the wall of a house where they were working collapsed and fell on them.
An elderly woman was also killed after a portion of wall of her house caved in at Dhidingiguda village under Kashinagar block of the district.
In another such incident, a two-year-old girl died after the wall of her house collapsed and fell on her following heavy rainfall in Keonjhar district.
The incident took place at Bhagamunda village under Harichandanpur tehsil of the district, when the child identified as Subhalaxmi Mahanta was playing in her house.
