Khurda/Bhawanipatna: At least four persons died in two separate road accidents in Khurda and Kalahandi districts.

Two persons identified as Narendra Guru and Jitendra Nayak, both hailing from Salia Sahi in Bhubaneswar, were killed after a car in which they were travelling fell off Luhasankha bridge at Jatni in Khurda district late on Saturday.

The accident took place when the duo was returning to Bhubaneswar in a car after attending Ganesh Mahotsav at Jatni. The driver of the four-wheeler lost control over the wheels, following which the vehicle fell from the bridge into a drain.

Similarly, two persons lost their lives after their motorcycle collided head-on with a SUV at Dulukibandha Chhak in Dharmagarh of Kalahandi district last night.

One of them died on the spot and the other succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital.
