France Registers Over 60K Daily Cases, US Sees Over 1 Lakh

London: France registered 60,486 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours while the US saw over 1 lakh fresh cases for the third consecutive day.

The 60K new cases in France makes it the highest daily increase since the start of the global pandemic.

The total number of cases in France has crossed 1.6 million while 39,800 people have died so far.
