New Delhi: As the BJP is set to win the Delhi Assembly elections, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah took a veiled dig at opposition INDIA bloc members Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on social media. He mocked AAP’s imminent defeat.
Abdullah, a senior leader of the National Conference, which is also part of the INDIA bloc, took to X and shared a popular meme. “Jee bhar kar lado. Samaapt kardo ek dusre ko! (Fight to your heart’s content. Finish off each other)” he wrote, taking a sarcastic dig at the AAP-Congress conflict as the parties decided to go solo in the Delhi polls despite being members of the India Bloc.
He also mockingly captioned the post: “Aur lado aapas mein!!! (Fight amongst yourselves some more, why don’t you?)”

The Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister had previously questioned the alliance’s long-term purpose. He has stated that it “should be wound up if it was only for parliamentary polls.”
