Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID-19 caseload in Bhubaneswar saw a further decline on Tuesday with 69 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The city had seen 83 and 74 new cases in the first two days of November.
The new infections, which included 14 are quarantine and 55 local contact cases, has taken the affected tally to 29379.
While Saheed Nagar reported 5 cases, Rasulgarh, Nayapalli and Tankapani Road saw 4 cases each, followed by 3 each from Patia, Garage Chhak and Old Town and 2 each from Badagada, Baramunda, Jayadev Vihar, Bharatpur, Chandrasekharpur, Mancheswar and Sundarpada.
The last 24 hours also saw two more COVID-19 deaths and 180 more patients getting cured of the disease.
With 170 deaths and 28138 recoveries, Bhubaneswar now has 1050 active cases.
