Bhubaneswar: The Odisha capital saw a further fall in fresh infections of COVID-19 with 61 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
With this, the affected tally in the city touched 29583 on Friday.
This is for the second consecutive day that the city has seen less than 70 new cases.
The daily caseload since November 1 is as follows: 83, 74, 69, 75, 68.
According to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation, 13 of the new infections are quarantine and 42 are local contact cases.
The last 24 hours also saw two COVID-19 deaths and 91 more patients getting cured of the disease.
With 177 deaths and 28486 recoveries, Bhubaneswar now has 899 active cases.
