New Delhi: Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, named as the mastermind behind singer-politician Sidhu Moosewala’s murder, has said that he and his community will never forgive Salman Khan for killing a blackbuck.
Bishnoi told this to Delhi Police’s special cell when he was being interrogated.
They said Bishnoi claimed that he will reconsider his decision only after the Bollywood superstar apologizes in public.
The Bishnoi community considers blackbuck as a sacred animal.
According to HGS Dhaliwal, Special Commissioner of Police (Special Cell), Bishnoi said during interrogation that he – and not any court — will decide Salman’s fate in the blackbuck poaching case.
“During interrogation, he candidly said that since the Bishnois consider the blackbuck to be the reincarnation of their religious guru Bhagwan Jambeshwar or Jambaji, acquittal or punishment from the court will not be the last verdict for him,” Dhaliwal was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.
“He (Bishnoi) also said the actor and his father (Salim Khan) either tender public apology in Jambaji temple or the Bishnois will kill them,” added Dhaliwal.
It may be recalled that Salman’s lawyer Hastimal Saraswat received a death threat from Bishnoi and his gang a few days ago. The chilling letter stated that Hastimal and his family will meet the same fate as that of Moosewala, who was shot dead in Punjab’s Mansa district.
