Jeypore: A ganja peddler allegedly died by suicide at Jeypore Sadar police station in Odisha’s Koraput district late on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Gopalram Paswan (48) of Rajasthan.
According to police, Gopal was detained while allegedly transporting around 850 kg of ganja in a truck from Malkangiri to Rajasthan.
He tore a blanket and hanged himself from the ceiling of the police station, the sources added.
