Berhampur: In an action of social responsibility, Ganjam collector Vijay Amrit Kulange came to the help of two youths who were injured in a bike accident and sent them to hospital in his official car on Saturday evening.
According to sources, while the youths were going to Berhampur from Gopalpur, their bike hit the road divider at Narayanpur. They were injured as they fell down from the bike.
The collector, who was on the way to Chatrapur from Gopalpur, saw them lying on the road. He stopped his official vehicle and asked the driver to get them admitted in MKCG Medical College and Hospital Berhampur, which is 11 km away.
Kulange then went to Chatrapur on a bike, according to the locals present on the spot.
