Ganjam Becomes Odisha’s Corona Hotspot With 71 Positive Cases

Bhubaneswar: As many as 24 persons tested positive for coronavirus in Ganjam district on Friday, taking the affected tally of Odisha to 270.

Earlier in the day, a Surat returnee in Bhadrak district had tested positive for the virus.

With these new cases, Ganjam has toppled Jajpur (54 + 1 recovery) to become the corona hotspot in Odisha with 71 virus-afflicted patients.

On Thursday, the district had seen 26 Surat returnees testing positive for the virus.
