Keonjhar: After remaining closed for around 10 months due to the COVID-19 pandemic, several major temples across Odisha reopened in the first week of January while rest are reopening in phases.
The Tarini Temple at Ghatagaon in Keonjhar district will reopen on January 18.
The family members of servitors would have darshan from 8 am to 9 am before it is thrown open to the public for darshan. The temple trust has issued guidelines in this regard.
Maa Tarini Thakurani Temple trust president Rajendra Patnaik informed that as per corona guidelines issued by the government, wearing of a mask is compulsory inside the temple.
Among the other guidelines, the darshan will start from 8 am to 12.30 pm in the first phase and from 4 pm to 6.30 pm in the second phase; the devotees can have darshan only and cannot offer prasad to the goddess; Children (under 10) are not allowed; the shops near and inside the temple will remain closed till further orders; devotees will not be allowed at the morning and evening Alati time.
