Soro: The carcass of a giant shark was spotted at Kantaichera near Soro in Balasore district on Sunday morning.
According to sources, locals found the dead shark in Kantaichera nullah, which is connected to the sea. As news spread, villagers crowded to the spot to see the fish.
The exact cause of death is yet to be ascertained, but it is suspected that the carcass came floating from the sea
The length of the shark is 10 feet and weighs around five quintals, said the sources.
