Bhadrak: In a shocking incident, a boy and his sister reportedly committed suicide within a few hours in Odisha’s Bhadrak district on Saturday.
According to sources, Sanatan Behera, son of Bidyadhar Behera of Kotha village under Dhusuri police station had a fight with the family members in the morning. Later, he committed suicide.
A few hours after, the daughter of Sanatan’s paternal uncle, Nirupama Behera, also took her life by hanging herself in her house. On being informed, a team from Dhusuri police station went to the spot and sent the bodies for post-mortem.
A pall of gloom has descended on the villagers of Kotha following the death of brother and sister. However, the exact cause of the death of brother and the sister has not been ascertained.
