Gajapati: A girl allegedly consumed poison and killed herself at Kambai village under Mohana block of Gajapati district on Saturday.
Sources said Sasmita Majhi’s family members rushed her to hospital after she took the poison on Saturday morning. However, she died while being treated at the hospital.
Sources said the girl killed herself over a love affair but the exact reason is yet to be ascertained. The police are investigating.
