Puri: A girl student of a government college in Odisha’s Puri town was found hanging inside her hostel room on Monday.
According to reports, the Plus-II second year student hailed from Bidyadharpur village under Balanga police station limits in Puri district.
Some inmates of the hostel reportedly found her hanging inside the room in the women’s hostel of the government-run college.
On being informed, a team from Puri Town police station reached the college campus and recovered the body. They have launched a probe into the incident and sent the body for post-mortem. Further details are awaited.
