Gwalior: A Gwalior man’s girlfriend wanted his car to be noticed on social media.
They succeeded to a great extent, but then he got caught by law enforcers.
Aditya Sikarwar, owner of the Swift, saw his female friend ‘paint’ his car with kiss marks. She covered virtually the entire body of the Swift with around 3,400 lipstick kiss marks!
It was hard work for the woman, as she took nearly three-and-a-half hours to finish the job. And the lipsticks cost around Rs 900.
The bizarre car ‘art’ attracted a fair bit of attention, with the reel fetching over 5.5 million views on Instagram.
However, among those watching was the Gwalior Traffic Police.

The unusual experiment ultimately cost Sikarwar dear.
He had to cop a Rs 5,500 challan, the car was taken to the police station, and he had to personally scrub the thousands of lipstick marks off the vehicle.
According to police, a video on social media showed a Swift car covered almost entirely with lipstick kiss marks and allegedly being driven at high speed in the city. It caught the attention of cops, who traced it to Thatipur from where a team of traffic police brought it to the traffic police station.
The owner was called for questioning.
He confessed that the idea was to follow a social-media trend, create something unusual and make the reel go viral.
According to police, Aditya acknowledged his mistake and himself cleaned the lipstick marks inside the police station premises.
Sikarwar, whose Instagram handle had 2,952 followers and 64 posts, blocked the account following police action.
Sikarwar said it was his girlfriend who came up with the idea and executed it. “A female friend of mine made it. I had parked the car and stepped away, and she created the marks. I had posted the video on Instagram,” he said.
“My friend thought that if we did this, the video would go viral, so we posted it. It did go viral. She covered the entire car with the marks,” Sikarwar said.
