Bhopal: The Odisha women continued with their goal-scoring ways to comfortably book a quarterfinal berth in the 12th Hockey India Senior Women’s National Championship.
On Friday, Odisha blasted 8 goals past Himachal Pradesh with reply to finish the group league stage with an all-win record. Dipti Lakra starred for Odisha with a hat-trick.
Odisha had earlier walloped Telangana 14-0 and Kerala 11-0, thus scoring as many as 33 goals in three games.
In Goa, the Odisha boys have advanced to the semifinals of the Hockey India Men’s Sub-Junior National hockey championship.
