Bhubaneswar: Odisha saw a further fall in daily COVID-19 caseload on Tuesday with 644 more people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
It was after a gap of almost six months that the state reported less than 700 fresh infections in a single day.
Among the new cases, 371 are quarantine and 273 local contacts.
With this, the affected tally has touched 310052.
While Khurda reported the highest 73 new cases, followed by Sundargarh (62), Mayurbhanj (59), Cuttack (38), Keonjhar (37), Puri (34), Balangir (32), Angul (29), Kendrapada (29), Jagatsinghpur (27), Jharsuguda (26), Bhadrak (19), Jajpur (17), Malkangiri (16), Kalahandi (15), Nabarangpur (15), Sambalpur (15), Bargarh (14), Balasore (13), Sonepur (10), Nayagarh (9), Nuapada (9), Ganjam (7), Dhenkanal (6), Kandhamal (5), Boudh (3), Deogarh (3), Gajapati (3), Koraput (1) and Rayagada (1),
Besides, the state pool has 17 cases.
With 299159 recoveries, Odisha has now 9280 active cases.
