Govinda Apologises After Security Guard-Paparazzo Scuffle, Internet Applauds His Humility

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Govinda has been winning praise online after a video showed him apologising following a heated exchange between his security personnel and a paparazzo at a recent event.

It all started when Govinda attended the grand finale of Mrs India Queen Pehchan Meri Season 4 held in Mumbai as the chief guest.

As he was exiting the venue, a large crowd of fans and paparazzi gathered to click pictures.

Amidst the commotion, one of his security guards allegedly pushed a paparazzo, triggering a heated exchange.

The situation was later brought under control by Govinda, who calmly stepped in and apologised before leaving for his car.

In a video circulating on Instagram, the paparazzo can be heard asking, “What are you doing? Why are you pushing me?”

As tensions escalated, Govinda intervened, referring to the photographer as a friend and apologising to him, while also urging him to stay calm.

Fans lauded Govinda for handling the situation calmly.

Govinda began his Bollywood journey in the 1980s and went on to become a major star in the 1990s, delivering a string of hits such as ‘Hero No. 1’, ‘Coolie No. 1’, ‘Raja Babu’, and ‘Partner’.

In recent years, the actor has largely stayed away from the big screen. His last film appearance was in 2019’s ‘Rangeela Raja’, which didn’t perform well at the box office.

Since then, the actor has not announced any new projects.
