Mumbai: Govinda recently took the stage at a club in Pattaya, Thailand, amid reports of ongoing tension with his wife, Sunita Ahuja.
A video of the actor’s performance has surfaced online and sparked mixed reactions from fans.
While some praised his energy and dance moves, others questioned his decision to perform at a club, with one user saying it was “better than pan masala ads.”
In the viral video, Govinda can be seen performing with background dancers during an Independence Day celebration at the club.
The actor danced to some of his popular tracks from the 1990s, including “Soni De Nakhre” and “Sone Lagde.”
Dressed in a black-and-white suit, Govinda showcased his trademark dance moves as the audience cheered him on.
The performance received mixed reactions online.
One user wrote, “Feeling bad for this superstar… performing in club 😂.”
Defending the actor, another commented, “Nothing wrong in earning money, at least he is coming back on his own feet.”
Comparing Govinda’s performance with the recent controversy surrounding Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn over their pan masala endorsements, one user wrote, “Better than Pan masala Ad.”

Meanwhile, Sunita recently took a dig at Govinda after he was spotted with Komal Rani Swarnkar at the airport, referring to him as her “sugar daddy.”
She said, “The picture must be made first (laughs). Promotions occur after a film is made. But without promotions… now what can I say? He’s roaming with a girl his daughter’s age; he should be ashamed. He must have a standard. Your sugar daddy is so rich; at least dress properly. Look at us dressed so stylishly. Very bad, he’s lost his mind.”
Reacting to Sunita’s remarks, Govinda asked her to “stay within her limits” and accused her of making statements intended to humiliate him.
He said, “Everyone is aware of the group and gang behind you, and they will soon come out in the open. You may need me in the future as well, so please stop making such statements and running this podcast to humiliate me. Please know your limits.”
