Govt To Decide On Conducting Exams After Schools Reopen: Odisha Minister
Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government will take a decision on holding the annual examinations after reopening of the schools, said School and Mass Education minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Thursday.
The minister said as Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has directed for closure of all schools and higher secondary schools till Dussehra Puja in the last week of October, the government will take a decision on their reopening in November after assessing the COVID-19 situation in the state.
“As the government feels that it will be proper to conduct the examination after teaching some subjects for some time, it cannot be said at the moment as to when the examination will be conducted,” the minister pointed out.
