SOA law faculty graduation ceremony

Bhubaneswar: The SOA National Institute of Law (SNIL), faculty of legal studies of the SOA Deemed to be University, organised a graduation ceremony for students of the 2021-26 batch of BALLB (Hons) and BBALLB (Hons), 2023-26 batch LLB (Hons) and 2025-26 batch LLM courses.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Pradipta Kumar Nanda was the chief guest at Wednesday’s ceremony where degrees were presented to all students who successfully completed their courses.

Addressing the students, Prof. Nanda said they had the opportunity to study in an institute which was ranked 10th in the country among law schools and a university which was ranked 15th in the country by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2025.

“Your behaviour and performance in your field of work will establish the name of your alma mater,” he told the students, urging them to do their best and keep SOA’s flag flying high.

Prof. Nanda said the world was undergoing many changes while the advent of AI had been impacting all areas of life. He advised students to use technology to make themselves more efficient, and added that as practitioners of the legal profession, they should endeavour to become the voice of the underprivileged to uphold justice in the society.
