Guinness World Record: All 9 Family Members Share Same Birthday!

Lahore: Family members sharing same date of birth is quite rare and exciting.

And when all nine of them happen to share the same birthday, it has to be a one-off occurrence.

Yes, the Mangi family from Pakistan’s Larkana have held the Guinness World Record since 2019.

Ameer Ali and wife Khudeja, as well as their seven children, were all born on August 1.

Their children — Sindhoo, female twins Sasui and Sapna, Aamir, Ambar, and male twins Ammar and Ahmar — are aged between 19 and 30 years.

Ameer and Khudeja started it all by getting married in 1991 on – you guessed it – August 1!

Ameer told Guinness World Records (GWR) that he and his wife hadn’t consciously planned for his kids to be born on the same day and that “it was all natural, from Allah.”

GWR reported that all the children were conceived and born naturally, none of them was delivered prematurely via Caesarean section, nor was Khudeja’s labour ever induced early.

Ameer said that he was “surprised and delighted” when their first child was born on August 1, 1992.

He and Khudeja were then in for a surprise as their six other children were also born on the same date.

The Mangi children also are proud record-holders for the most number of siblings born on the same day.
