He not only entertained with his breathtaking performance on the stage of 65th Amazon Filmfare Awards 2020 but also managed to bag the Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male) award for his stellar act in ‘Gully Boy’. Here we are talking about Ranveer Singh. The movie, which was India’s official entry for the Oscars, also saw Alia Bhatt, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Amruta Subhash winning Best Actor In Leading Role (Female), Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Male) and Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Female) awards respectively.
Gully Boys swiped top hours with Best Picture Popular, Best Director (Zoya Akhtar), Best Lyrics (Ankur Tewari for Apna Time Aayega), Best Dialogue (Vijay Maurya) and Best Screenplay (Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar) awards.
It shared the Best Music album award with the movie, Kabir Singh.
