Washington: A one-time lockdown may not suffice in halting the spread of novel coronavirus. Rather, repeated periods of social distancing may be required up to the year 2022 to check the global pandemic which has so far killed 129,000 people. This is according a study by Harvard scientists who modelled the pandemic’s trajectory.

The Harvard team’s computer simulation published in a paper in the journal named Science.
