Hathras: The medico-legal report of the 19-year-old Hathras gang-rape victim prepared by Aligarh Muslim University’s Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC) has revealed that there were “signs of use of force and penetration”.
According to the report, released there was complete penetration of the vagina, even as semen was not found in the body of the deceased. The doctors observed that the girl was unconscious at the time of the incident, Times Now reported on Sunday.
An earlier report prepared by forensic experts stated that semen was not found by the doctors. One of the doctors confirmed the use of force and stated, “Opinions regarding penetration and intercourse is subject to the pending availability of FSL reports.” The FSL report of Agra, however, argues that the girl was not raped.
More so, ADG (law and order) Prashant Kumar had said, “As per the FSL report, no semen was found in the viscera sample.”
“Pain during or after the incident”, was also mentioned in the said report. The report, which has been signed by assistant professor of the forensic department, Dr Faiz Ahmed, states that the girl had alleged sexual assault by four men in her statement.
According to the report, the chairman of Neurosurgery department, MF Huda had written to the casualty medical officer, informing him that the girl was in a critical condition and had requested him to arrange ‘for magistrate for dying declaration’.
The girl recorded her statement before a magistrate on September 22, following which, her samples were sent to the forensic science laboratory for examination.
The autopsy report of the deceased, submitted by the Safdarjung Hospital stated that the girl’s hymen had ‘multiple old healed tears’ and ‘anal orifice showed old healed tear’. As per the post-mortem report, the girl’s death was caused by the assault.
