Bhubaneswar: The Regional Centre of India Meteorological Department has issued heat wave and thunderstorm warning for several districts of Odisha for next five days.
On Sunday, heat wave condition very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Balangir, Boudh, Sonepur and Bargarh, the Meteorological Centre stated in its mid-day bulletin.
The weather department has advised people to take precautionary measures while going out in the hot weather.
On the other hand, thunderstorm with lightning wrning has been issued for the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Deogarh, Jagatsinghpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Khurda and Puri.
Temperature Forecast: No large change in maximum temperature (day temperature) at many places over the districts of Odisha during the next 4-5 days.
