Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) here issued thunderstorm and moderate rainfall warning for five Odisha districts till 5 pm on Sunday.

The districts are Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur and Kendrapara districts, according to the IMD’s latest bulletin. Spells of heavy rainfall are also likely to occur at one or two places in these districts.
People in these districts have been advised to stay indoors and take shelter in buildings and other safe places between 2 pm and 5 pm.
