Heavy Rain, Gusty Wind To Bring Down Mercury In Odisha By 3-5°C; IMD Issues Orange Warning
Bhubsneswar: Day temperature is likely to come down in Odisha ny 3 to 5 degree Celsius next week as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday issued ‘orange warning’ for rain, thunderstorm with lightning and gusty winds.
The Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar also predicted that gusty surface wind with speed reaching up to 40 to 50 kmph may be experienced in some districts of Odisha during the next week.
Apart from this, a yellow alert for thunderstorm with lightning has also been issued for several districts in the next few days.
The MeT Centre said thunderstorm with lightning accompanied by gusty surface wind speed reaching 40-50 KMPH is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Angul, Jajpur on March 19.
