Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued orange and yellow warnings for seven districts of Odisha, including twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, till 1.30 pm on Wednesday.
Moderate rain/thundershower with one or two intense spells of rain may occur In Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur and Puri in 3 hours.
The weather agency has warned of waterlogging in low-lying areas, occasionally poor visibility and traffic disruption in urban areas.

Light to moderate rain/thundershower with lightning is also likely in some parts of districts of Jajpur, Cuttack (including Cuttack city), and Khurda (including Bhubaneswar) during this period. People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
