Bhubaneswar: One or two spells of intense rainfall is likely in twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack till 2 pm, the regional meteorological centre here informed on Tuesday.
Thunderstorm with lightning and Light to moderate rain likely to affect some parts of Bhoudh, Nayagarh, Cuttack (including Cuttack city, Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Puri, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Gajapati and Ganjam districts till 5 pm.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places
Notably, the weather agency has issued orange warning of heavy rainfall for Cuttack, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Dhenkanal, and Jajpur districts till 8.30 am on Tuesday.

Thunderstorm with lightning, and gusty surface wind speed reaching 50-60 kmph and hail may also occur at one or two places in Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, and Jajpur districts. Hail is likely at one or two places in Nayagarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Balangir, Sonepur, and Boudh during this period.
