Bhubaneswar: Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Bargarh and Balasore between Friday afternoon and Saturday morning, the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar warned.
It further said under the influence of a cyclonic circulation over Gangetic West Bengal and neighbourhood, a low pressure area has formed over Southwest Bihar and adjoining Southeast Uttar Pradesh with associated cyclonic circulation extending up to mid tropospheric levels.
The cyclonic circulation over East Uttar Pradesh and neighbourhood extends up to 3.1 km above mean sea level has merged with the above system.
The trough now runs from West Rajasthan to northeast Bay of Bengal across south Haryana, centre of low pressure area over southwest Bihar and adjoining southeast Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal and extends up to 0.9 km above mean sea level.
A cyclonic circulation lies over south Bangladesh & neighbourhood between 3.1 km and 5.8 km above mean sea level.
