New Delhi: Injectable drug Remdisivir, which is used for the treatment of COVID-19, is going off the shelves at a time when the second wave of COVID-19 is at a peak in the country. There have been reports of the shortage of antiviral drug.
To make it accessible, Pharma major Dr Reddy’s Laboratories’ official website has given various details on the availability of Remdesivir and Favipiravir tablets used in the treatment of COVID patients.
The website — readytofightcovid.in — lists the hospitals and pharma shops in various cities where the two drugs available, along with phone numbers and addresses.
It also gives access to a 24/7 helpline number — 1800-266-708 — for queries related to the COVID drugs, reported NDTV.
Remdesivir is being used by doctors for the treatment of COVID-19 patients with serious complications.
