New Delhi: Former Australian cricketer, David Warner took to social media and slammed Air India after the airline allegedly made him and his fellow passengers board onto the flight without assigning any pilots for the trip.
“We’ve boarded a plane with no pilots and waiting on the plane for hours. Why would you board passengers knowing that you have no pilots for the flight?” he wrote.

Replying to the batsman, the airline stated: ”
“Dear Mr. Warner, today’s challenging weather in Bengaluru caused diversions and delays across all airlines. The crew operating your flight was held up on an earlier assignment affected by these disruptions, which led to a delay in departure. We appreciate your patience and thank you for choosing to fly with us.”
The legendary batsman will not be playing in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League as he got no bids in the mega-auction. He will be playing in the new season of The Hundred where he has been drafted by the London Spirit.
Warner is also set to make his debut in the upcoming Telugu film titled ‘Robinhood’. Earlier, he had played for the Sunrisers Hyderabad for eight years.
He will also be playing in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) for the Karachi Kings. He was last seen playing for Australia during the T20 World Cup 2024. He retired from Tests after the home Test series against Pakistan in January 2024. He also retired on his ODI career after helping Australia win the World Cup in Ahmedabad the same year as well.
