Honda has finally updated its popular sedan City to BS6 norms. There has been a hike of around Rs 15,000 for the petrol BS6 variants. The diesel variant has not been launched and is expected to come near to April 2020, the deadline for BS6 cars. The BS4 diesel variant has also received a Rs 5,000 hike.

Currently, Honda City is the only mid-size sedan to be upgraded to BS6 norms. Its competitors, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Hyundai Verna and Toyota Yaris are expected to get upgraded soon. The Verna will get Kia Seltos’ BS6 diesel engine.
The next-generation Honda City will arrive in India by mid 2020.
